Discovery Flight

A discovery flight is an introductory flight lesson that flight schools offer to prospective students who are interested in learning to fly. During a discovery flight, you will usually have the opportunity to fly the airplane with the guidance of a certified flight instructor.
The purpose of a discovery flight is to give you a firsthand experience of what it is like to fly an airplane and to help you determine if pursuing flight training is something you would like to pursue further. You’ll learn about the basics of flying, including how the airplane is controlled, how to use the instruments, and how to communicate with air traffic control.
Discovery flights typically last between thirty minutes to an hour, and the cost can vary depending on the flight time and other related cost. We offer a discounted price discovery flight as a way to attract potential students.

FLIGHT TRAINING PROGRAMS

PRIVATE PILOT REAUIREMENT ACCORDING TO FAA GUIDELINE

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has established certain requirements that must be met in order to obtain a Private Pilot Certificate in the United States. Here are the basic requirements:

  1. Age: You must be at least 17 years old to obtain a Private Pilot Certificate.
  2. Language: You must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
  3. Health: You must have a valid FAA Medical Certificate, which certifies that you are physically and mentally fit to fly.

INSTRUMENT RATING

The Instrument Rating is an additional certification that allows a pilot to fly in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC), which means that they can fly in low visibility conditions using only the instruments in the aircraft. Here are the requirements to obtain an Instrument Rating in the United States:

  1. Age: You must be at least 18 years old to obtain an Instrument Rating.
  2. Flight Experience: You must hold a Private Pilot Certificate or Commercial Pilot Certificate and have logged at least 50 hours of cross-country flight time as pilot in command (PIC), including at least 10 hours of instrument flight time in actual or simulated instrument conditions.
  3. Training: You must complete a minimum of 40 hours of instrument flight training, including at least 15 hours of instrument flight training with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).

COMMERTIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL)

To obtain a Commercial Pilot License in the United States, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has established the following requirements:

  1. Age: You must be at least 18 years old to obtain a Commercial Pilot License.
  2. Flight Experience: You must have at least 250 hours of flight time as a pilot, including at least 100 hours of pilot-in-command time and 50 hours of cross-country flight time.
  3. Training: You must complete a minimum of 190 hours of flight training, including at least 10 hours of instrument flight training and 20 hours of training in complex aircraft.

CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR TRAINING (CFI)

The Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certification is required to teach others to fly in the United States. To obtain a CFI license from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the following requirements must be met:

  1. Age: You must be at least 18 years old to obtain a CFI license.
  2. Flight Experience: You must hold a Commercial Pilot License or Airline Transport Pilot License and have logged at least 250 hours of flight time as a pilot, including at least 100 hours of pilot-in-command time and 50 hours of cross-country flight time.
  3. Training: You must complete a CFI training course or have equivalent experience as a flight instructor. This training will cover topics such as teaching techniques, regulations, and safety procedures.
